Edwin G. Vroom

Mr. Vroom founded Roanoke Asset Management in 1978 and is responsible for co-managing Roanoke’s All-Cap Growth and Growth and Income products. Prior to forming the firm, he was a Vice President and Division Executive at Bankers Trust Company where he managed employee benefit portfolios primarily for Fortune 100 companies. Over the course of his 11 year tenure at Bankers Trust, he also managed individual accounts for the Bank’s high net worth clients. Mr. Vroom graduated from New York University’s School of Commerce and Banking, and is an avid road cyclist.

Adele S. Weisman

Ms. Weisman is responsible for co-managing Roanoke’s flagship growth products. She joined Roanoke in 1981 following a stint as Treasurer of the GAF Corporation where she was responsible for financing, credit, cash and the management of the Company’s employee benefit assets. She established and managed GAF’s in-house pension fund and administered externally managed pension assets. Before that, Ms. Weisman was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Bankers Trust Company where she was responsible for over $500 million in employee benefit assets. She holds a B.A. from Arcadia University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business. Ms Weisman is also an enthusiastic cook and culture consumer.

Christopher Vroom, CFA, CFP®

Chris joined the Roanoke investment team in June 2019 bringing 25 years experience in asset management, corporate finance and equity research. He was Managing Director and Global Group Head of Internet Equity research at the Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group, a founding  Partner at Thomas Weisel Partners and a Managing Director and Global Head of the Consumer Group at Alex Brown & Sons, where he followed high growth retailers (including Starbucks which he took public in June 1992). Chris also founded the New York-based visual arts non-profit, Artadia, the e-commerce platform, Artspace, ArtandCulture.com and CollectorIQ, a tangible asset advisory firm. He graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and an Accredited Appraiser.

Sofia Bianculi

Ms. Bianculli, Senior Administrator and Portfolio Associate, joined Roanoke in 2013 with more than 15 years of experience at Glickenhaus & Co. as Portfolio Operations Manager and Assistant Director of Compliance.  She is responsible for various aspects of operations, marketing and client service. Ms. Bianculli is trilingual and holds a B.A. from the Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru.
